You’re gonna have to build lots of things to find one thing (that gets traction).
Then, when things settle, you get to take a big-ass bite of the metaphorical sandwich you built.
You took a few nibbles early on, but decided to overlook the unusual flavor.

the point isn’t to find traction.
the point is to find traction that tastes good.
